Lisa has brought her 28 years of experience in private practice and consulting to design an exciting, unique, and leading edge blend of spa experiences in a newly renovated and custom designed facility. She has worked extensively with medical doctors, chiropractors, and physiotherapists in a variety of health care settings.
Lisa is a dynamic public speaker and continues to develop and present seminars on integrative and complimentary health care topics. In addition to her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Lisa has diplomas from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Lisa has also completed the Paramedical Dermal Technician certification with Dr. Danne Montague King and Dr. Eleanna Beveridge.
Dennis received his certificate of clinical practice in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs from the Zhe Jiang College of Traditional Chinese medicine in Hangzhou, China. He is a registered acupuncturist in Alberta and is a graduate of the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACATCM). Dennis also holds a Masters of Science degree from the University of Alberta, specializing in the field of Cell Biology and an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Lee is the Dean of Students at ACATCM and is also one of the head lecturers and Chief Clinical Supervisor.
Dr. Lee specializes in Infertility, Digestive disorders, Pain management, Stress control, and Gynecological problems. His focus is to help ones body heal itself through Acupuncture, Herbology, and Auricular Medicine. Dr. Lee also has very effective preventative protocols for maintaining good health and overall body balancing.
Dr. Cheryl Cooper is the Director of Vitallife Integrative Medicine. With 20 years in the health and wellness industry, she was of Ottawa’s most respected Naturopathic doctors. She specializes in hormone balancing, women’s health, and digestive and immune system disorders.
As a Naturopathic doctor, Cheryl uses a holistic approach to helping patients gain and maintain good health. She helps patients understand and manage the root causes of their health concerns. Her personalized approach involves educating and empowering patients to take control of their health.
She holds a degree in Naturopathic Medicine, a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics with Honours in Psychology, Mind/Body Medicine Certification from Harvard Medical School, and a Doula Certificate. In 2005, Cheryl received the Ina Meares Award for Clinical Excellence.
Margaret began her clinical practice in 1996 as a Nutritional Consultant, a Wellness Coach, a Shiatsu Therapist and Reflexologist. In 2006 she graduated from the Advanced Massage Therapy Program (2200 hours) from Foothills College of Massage Therapy. Her experience as a practitioner include: Relaxation and Therapeutic massage in a clinical setting treating soft tissue injuries and related conditions. Enhanced skills include: Craniosacral Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Reiki, Chakra Balancing, Myofascial Cupping, Pre and Post–Natal Massage, Stress Management Massage and Massage for Cancer. During a session she is able to draw on these therapies to meet your needs.
Terry Graduated from Foothills College of Massage in 2000. She started her career in a chiropractic clinic then joined Inner Balance in 2003. Her experience includes therapeutic and relaxation massage in a clinical setting, treating a variety of patients with muscle pain due to motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, and daily life stresses. She is also a certified personal fitness trainer, who studied through Mount Royal University. Terry continually strives to further her education and skills as a practitioner and leads an active lifestyle that includes running, weight training, biking and yoga. Along with training in many of the treatments Inner balance offers, Terry has also completed the Paramedical Dermal Technician certification with Dr. Danné Montague King and Dr. Eleanna Beveridge.
Kaitlyn is a 2200 hour graduate from MH Vickers School of Massage Therapy. She has been practicing massage therapy since 2016. Kaitlyn incorporates a combination of deep tissue and Swedish massage techniques to help achieve long term recovery. In addition to therapeutic massage she is also trained in myofascial cupping, raindrop therapy, prenatal massage, and TMJ disorder treatments.
Twyla received her diploma for Massage Therapy from CDI College of Business Technology and Health Care in Calgary, Ab. Twyla firmly believes in maintaining a balanced lifestyle through physical health, diet, and social activity. She enjoys an active lifestyle through biking, hiking, swimming and snowboarding. Twyla practices both relaxation and therapeutic massage and has trained in Myofascial Release Technique.
Suan graduated from Kikkawa College in Toronto 1992. She has worked in a variety of settings including Chiropractic, Sports Medicine, and Spa. Susan is also a certified Pilates instructor and is passionate about both Massage Therapy and Pilates to help people to feel their best.
Karen graduated from the Foothills College of Massage Therapy in 2000. Since then she has added Craniosacral therapy, Reiki, Hot stone massage, Reflexology, Pre/postnatal massage, and Raindrop therapy to her practice. Karen enjoys an active lifestyle and she believes strongly in holistic and alternative medicine. Karen is a birth doula supporting both mother and partner during labour and birth of their baby.
Darlene graduated from Mount Royal University’s Massage Therapy program in 1997. Her expertise includes many methods for releasing and balancing the physical and energetic body. She has extensive training in reflexology, craniosacral therapy, raindrop therapy, prenatal massage and energy work. Darlene enjoys hiking in the Rockies and cycling.
Felicitas graduated from MH VICARS School of Massage Therapy in 2015. In the second year of her 2200 hours diploma, she started practicing at the school’s public clinic and gained experience in treating a variety of patients and conditions. Felicitas believes in the healing power of touch and is passionate about supporting people in their health and well being. She is also a certified tennis and ski instructor and loves to spend her days off in the mountains where she re-energizes.
Adrienne has her 2200 hrs diploma, graduating from Alberta Massage Training. She enjoys combining relaxation, deep tissue technique and trigger point therapy to develop an individual based treatment session for her clients to fit their needs. She also specializes in prenatal massage and is also fully trained in Raindrop Therapy, cupping technique and hot/cold stone therapy.
