A traditional Ayurvedic foot massage to revitalize tired feet and legs and rebalance body, mind and spirit. Ayurvedic foot massage using the kansa vatki has been in existence in India for centuries. The feet are considered the seat of the meridians and many nerve endings, neural receptors and marma points. This restorative treatment uses massage therapy and a small metal bowl containing copper and zinc lubricated with ghee or oil and rubbed against the soles of the feet. The treatment starts with a contrasting temperature foot bath and gentle exfoliation. A truly relaxing experience.
